Military Recognition Banner Progam

The Military Recognition Banner Program honors our brave men and women who are actively serving in the military.  In order to qualify, the individual must be a current member of the U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, Reserve, National Guard) and a resident of Unincorporated Whittier, Rowland Heights, or Hacienda Heights.  Or they must have lived in Unincorporated Whittier, Rowland Heights, or Hacienda Heights prior to joining the military and currently have an immediate family member in the community.

There is no fee to apply.  You will need to provide proof of residency and a copy of the service member’s military identification card or other proof of service.

Applications for the recognition banner are available at the Regional Chamber of Commerce - San Gabriel Valley Office.  Applications must be renewed every year in order for Banner to remain displayed.
