Name: Rowland Heights Community Coordinating Council
    Date: March 13, 2017
    Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM PDT
    Event Description:
The Industry Manufacturers Council is providing the following community announcement on behalf of the
    Rowland Heights Community Coordinating Council
    MARCH 13, 2017.
A Gold Line route utilizing the 60 Freeway right-of-way and extending to the Puente Hills Mall area, and preferably to Diamond Bar, would have many benefits.  It would reduce congestion and smog along the freeway, provide a low cost convenient transportation option, and provide access to people living west of the 605 Freeway to the thousands of jobs and many fine businesses in our local communities.  Ridership on such a route would surly be very heavy.
Metro has held many community meetings regarding proposed routes, none of which were in our area.  The voices of our residents and businesses have not been heard or taken into consideration.  Jill Liu with the Metro team that is responsible for making a route recommendation to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors will begin her presentation at 8:00 p.m.  Please attend and provide your personal input.
For additional information, please contact Ted Ebenkamp with the Rowland Heights Community Coordinating Council.
