    Having a Baby....Properly Handling Pregnancy Leaves:  Because of the differing provisions in the state and federal laws, calculating pregnancy leave can be complicated, particularly when coupled with child-bonding leave.  Recent changes to the law allowing for paid "parental leave" further confuse many. Annual investment in the RCCSGV may be tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.  Investments made to the Chamber are not a charitable tax deduction for federal income tax purposes.
